Nutritional and Integrative Medicine for Mental Health
I’ve been providing mental health services for over 10 years. I’m an alumni of California State University of Los Angeles, where I received my Masters of Social Work. I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I’ve worked in community mental health and started my own practice providing virtual counseling services part time. I created Mood Connection Center because our mood is important in the way we live our lives. Our mood is reflective of the interactions we make with others and the quality of life we make for ourselves. In my free time I like spending time with family, watching romantic comedies, British period pieces, listening to music, sound baths, reiki, exploring outdoors, cooking, eating, shopping, relaxing and traveling all around. I’m a mother, daughter, sister, friend and therapist! Life is not perfect but it’s definitely worth enjoying!
The connections to our mood is reflective on our emotions and our behaviors and sometimes without addressing our mood we can damage important relationships with others or even our self. I will work to help you break down the barriers that trouble you that have impacted your mood and work with you to restore more stability and positive mental health. Improved mood increases the ability to take care of other areas of life that don’t get much attention when we are stuck. Improved mood also helps us get our needs met. I approach therapy holistically with goal to improve mind, body and spirit – using strengths internally and externally to restore your mood and optimize your mental health. If you are dealing with loss, life transitions, stress, feeling overwhelmed, feeling spread thin, irritable, moody, lack of support, challenges in your relationship, low energy, sleep less nights, brain overload, let’s work together to restore your mental health, improve your mood and work towards a more connected life.
